Being in Texas means I get a lot of country style sessions. Don't get me wrong, I love jeans, boots and hats. Throw in an open field and maybe a horse and we've got a gorgeous session. But sometimes I need to change it up a little. For me. I've learned that creating is what keeps me fueled for my clients. Allowing myself the time to dream up something fun and then see it through keeps me excited to get out there and shoot!
This session has been on my to do list since last fall. Creating an edgy, urban look in a small town. And I'm thrilled to say that it absolutely can be done. Also, a big thank you to the Hico Mercantile for letting us shoot there and to my forever model Larkin!
