Wedding Workshop Series: The Details | Stonebridge Wedding Venue

At the tail end of August, I had the pleasure of attending a wedding workshop hosted by Rebecca Chesney Photography and Southern Wedding Professionals. It began with talks by 3 industry experts and ended with a glamorous styled shoot. I still consider myself a student in the world of wedding photography and this was such a great experience to meet with the seasoned professionals. I've decided to blog about this workshop in a series because (a) I have so many pictures I want to share and (b) to be able to share a few pointers for brides to be.

One of the biggest parts of wedding photography is capturing the details. The small things that truly help capture a story, starting from your rings and invitations to your cake. They all tell who you are as a couple, your style, and when put together with your other images, they really complete the tale of your day. Know that these little things will be captured, so whether you are celebrating big or small, it's important to keep your style in mind and have the details ready for your photographer to shoot.

P.S. Be sure to check out the blog post on Southern Wedding Pros featuring photos from yours truly (shameless plug!) right HERE.
